Hello and Welcome to 4th Grade!! I am so excited to start out another year here at Weatherstone Elementary. My name is Misty Foster and I will be your child’s math, science, & social studies teacher this year. I hope that we will be able to work together towards a successful year together.

I was born and raised in Raleigh and attended Appalachian University where I graduated with a degree in elementary education. I earned a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Meredith College. I am also a National Board Certified teacher.

I have been married for almost 13 years to my amazing husband, Brad. We have two wonderful children, Cayden(6), and Nathan (4). Cayden is in first grade at Weatherstone!  My entire teaching career has been at Weatherstone Elementary, where the staff has been so supportive and amazing all years that I have been here. I have taught 5th grade for a total of 5 years, and this will be my 11th year teaching 4th.
